Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Julia Margaret Cameron could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Classic Photographs auction, the work Lord Justice James changed hands for USD 3,276.00 (€ 2,812.74) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julia Margaret Cameron achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sir John Herschel in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 103,258.38).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Julia Margaret Cameron konnte im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
