Auction result well in line with expectations

Admittedly, works by Jules Van Imschoot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Battle of Sedan; and The Battle of Gravelotte in February this year with an auction result of GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,185.99).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.026,89) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00.
