The work Gathering Storm by Jules Tavernier was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2005. It achieved a price of USD 6,600.00 (€ 5,597.96), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jules Tavernier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figure on a Rock Ledge with an Expansive Landscape Beyond in April this year with an auction result of USD 151,575.00 (€ 137,296.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 32 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Gathering Storm von Jules Tavernier kam im November 2005 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 6.600,00 (€ 5.597,96) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 32%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jules Tavernier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figure on a Rock Ledge with an Expansive Landscape Beyond im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.575,00 (€ 137.296,20).
