Admittedly, works by Jules Tavernier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figure on a Rock Ledge with an Expansive Landscape Beyond in April this year with an auction result of USD 151,575.00 (€ 137,296.20).

Die Arbeit Russian River von Jules Tavernier kam im Oktober 2020 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 17.575,00 (€ 15.089,72) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%.
