This artwork by Jules Schyl achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2018. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work Cubistic still life sold for SEK 45,000.00 (€ 4,368.89) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jules Schyl - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape from Siena, Italy, which sold at auction in April 2014 for SEK 80,000.00 (€ 8,865.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jules Schyl erzielte im Mai 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wurde die Arbeit Cubistic still life für SEK 45.000,00 (€ 4.368,89) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jules Schyl mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape from Siena, Italy beobachtet, die im April 2014 für SEK 80.000,00 (€ 8.865,18) versteigert wurde.
