In May 2021 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work Mallorca by Jules Schyl. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 19,000.00 (€ 1,876.00), 27% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jules Schyl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape from Siena, Italy in April 2014 with an auction result of SEK 80,000.00 (€ 8,865.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 27 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2021 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mallorca von Jules Schyl zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 19.000,00 (€ 1.876,00) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jules Schyl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape from Siena, Italy im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 80.000,00 (€ 8.865,18).
