Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction The Dealer's Eye | London, which included the work Portrait Of A Lady, 'Mme. B...', Half-Length, Wearing A Blue Dress With Pink Ribbons, And A Fur Wrap by Jules Delaunay. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 13,766.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jules Delaunay - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reclining nude, which sold at auction in March 2001 for GBP 23,500.00 (€ 37,919.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Dealer's Eye | London durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, 'Mme. B...', Half-Length, Wearing A Blue Dress With Pink Ribbons, And A Fur Wrap von Jules Delaunay zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 13.766,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jules Delaunay mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reclining nude beobachtet, die im März 2001 für GBP 23.500,00 (€ 37.919,60) versteigert wurde.
