Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work In The Military Forge by Jules Delaunay was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in June 2008. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 13,750.00 (€ 8,731.27). Admittedly, works by Jules Delaunay have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reclining nude in March 2001 with an auction result of GBP 23,500.00 (€ 37,919.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit In The Military Forge von Jules Delaunay kam im Juni 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 13.750,00 (€ 8.731,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jules Delaunay auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Reclining nude im März 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.500,00 (€ 37.919,60).
