Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Interiors, which included the work Sailing Boats at Low Tide by Jules Dupré. The price achieved of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,586.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jules Dupré achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Intérior De Ferme Dans Le Berry in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 115,000.00 (€ 73,869.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sailing Boats at Low Tide von Jules Dupré zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.586,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jules Dupré erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French Intérior De Ferme Dans Le Berry im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 115.000,00 (€ 73.869,48).
