Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Country Cottages 6 1/2 x 9 in. (17.0 x 23.0 cm) framed 8 x 10 1/2 x 1 1/4 in. by Jules Dupré was sold in the European Art | Bonhams Skinner auction at Bonhams in March this year. The price achieved of USD 701.25 (€ 645.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jules Dupré achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Intérior De Ferme Dans Le Berry in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 115,000.00 (€ 73,869.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Country Cottages 6 1/2 x 9 in. (17.0 x 23.0 cm) framed 8 x 10 1/2 x 1 1/4 in. von Jules Dupré wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion European Art | Bonhams Skinner bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 701,25 (€ 645,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jules Dupré erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French Intérior De Ferme Dans Le Berry im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 115.000,00 (€ 73.869,48).
