In January 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included this untitled work by Judy Pfaff. The result of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,021.43) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Judy Pfaff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Holi #11, which sold at auction in October 2018 for USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,169.96).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Judy Pfaff zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.021,43) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Judy Pfaff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Holi #11 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.169,96) versteigert wurde.
