Auction result misses estimated price range
In April last year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled II by Judit Reigl for EUR 1,890.00. This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Contemporary Auction at Sothebys in Cologne and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Judit Reigl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eclatement in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 411,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled II von Judit Reigl für EUR 1.890,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Auction bei Sothebys in Köln erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Judit Reigl erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eclatement im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 411.000,00.
