Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ecriture En Masse by Judit Reigl was sold in the Art Contemporain – Evening Sale auction at Sothebys in Paris in December 2017. The price achieved of EUR 150,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Judit Reigl - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Eclatement, which sold at auction in June 2016 for EUR 411,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ecriture En Masse von Judit Reigl wurde im Dezember 2017 in der Auktion Art Contemporain – Evening Sale bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 150.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Judit Reigl mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Eclatement beobachtet, die im Juni 2016 für EUR 411.000,00 versteigert wurde.
