Auction result well in line with expectations
The work SVELTO 2001 by Juan Uslé was auctioned at Phillips in March this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,890.00 (€ 8,176.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Juan Uslé achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nudo Suelto in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 193,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit SVELTO 2001 von Juan Uslé kam im März diesen Jahres bei Phillips zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.890,00 (€ 8.176,97) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Juan Uslé erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nudo Suelto im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 193.000,00.
