Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Juan Soriano could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Paintings auction, the work Vaquitas Pastando changed hands for USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,506.60) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Juan Soriano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Apolo y las musas in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 210,119.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Juan Soriano konnte im November 2010 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Latin American Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Vaquitas Pastando für USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.506,60) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 18.000,00 – 22.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Juan Soriano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Apolo y las musas im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 210.119,35).
