In November 2010 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale, which included the work Paisaje portugués by Juan Soriano. The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,506.60) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Juan Soriano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Apolo y las musas in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 210,119.35).

Im November 2010 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paisaje portugués von Juan Soriano zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.506,60) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Juan Soriano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Apolo y las musas im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 210.119,35).
