Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Adam And Eve by Juan Soriano was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 37,500.00 (€ 29,541.52) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Juan Soriano have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Apolo y las musas in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 210,119.35).

Die Arbeit Adam And Eve von Juan Soriano kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 35.000,00 – 45.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 29.541,52) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Juan Soriano auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Apolo y las musas im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 210.119,35).
