Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2015 Phillips in New York held the auction Latin America, which included the work Paisaje de la época feudal by Juan O'Gorman. Here, the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,109.51). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Juan O'Gorman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Consumatum Est in May last year with an auction result of USD 378,000.00 (€ 352,250.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2015 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Latin America durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paisaje de la época feudal von Juan O'Gorman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 37.500,00 (€ 34.109,51) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Juan O'Gorman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Consumatum Est im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 378.000,00 (€ 352.250,49).
