Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Seated Figure by Juan Munoz was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in July 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 151,200.00 (€ 177,313.35). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Juan Munoz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Conversation Piece Iii in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 4,898,500.00 (€ 3,960,303.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Seated Figure von Juan Munoz wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 151.200,00 (€ 177.313,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Juan Munoz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Conversation Piece Iii im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.898.500,00 (€ 3.960.303,99).
