This artwork by Joan Hernández Pijuan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in February 2011. In the Post-War and Contemporary ArtDay Auction auction, the work Paisatge Blanc sold for GBP 67,250.00 (€ 79,214.87) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Joan Hernández Pijuan; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Entre les 7 i les 8 sold at auction in October 2007 with the realized price of EUR 138,250.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Joan Hernández Pijuan erzielte im Februar 2011 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary ArtDay Auction wurde die Arbeit Paisatge Blanc für GBP 67.250,00 (€ 79.214,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 35.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Joan Hernández Pijuan; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Entre les 7 i les 8 im Oktober 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 138.250,00.
