Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Costume Design for a Peasant Girl in Les Tentations de la Bergère by Juan Gris. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,016.00 (€ 2,252.05). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Juan Gris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La table de musicien in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 31,812,500.00 (€ 27,260,068.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Costume Design for a Peasant Girl in Les Tentations de la Bergère von Juan Gris zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.016,00 (€ 2.252,05) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Juan Gris erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La table de musicien im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.812.500,00 (€ 27.260.068,55).
