Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale, which included the work Still Life With White Zinnia, Lavender, Pink And Red Peonies, Gladiolus, Tulips And Rosebuds In A Glass Vase; Still Life With Roses, Tiger Tulips, White And Blue Aquilegia, Peonies, And Delphiniums In A Glass Vase by Juan de Arellano. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 314,500.00 (€ 378,294.72) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Juan de Arellano have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2017 the work A Pair Of Still Lifes Of Roses, Variegated Tulips, Peonies And Other Flowers In Crystal Vases, On Stone Plinths was auctioned for GBP 668,750.00 (€ 746,222.31).

Im Dezember 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With White Zinnia, Lavender, Pink And Red Peonies, Gladiolus, Tulips And Rosebuds In A Glass Vase; Still Life With Roses, Tiger Tulips, White And Blue Aquilegia, Peonies, And Delphiniums In A Glass Vase von Juan de Arellano zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 314.500,00 (€ 378.294,72) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
