Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Still Life Of Tulips, Roses, Peonies, Iris And Other Flowers In A Glass Vase, Resting On A Table by Juan de Arellano was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in June 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 86,500.00 (€ 70,376.70). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Juan de Arellano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Pair Of Still Lifes Of Roses, Variegated Tulips, Peonies And Other Flowers In Crystal Vases, On Stone Plinths in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 668,750.00 (€ 746,222.31).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Still Life Of Tulips, Roses, Peonies, Iris And Other Flowers In A Glass Vase, Resting On A Table von Juan de Arellano im Juni 2010 bei Sothebys in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 86.500,00 (€ 70.376,70) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Juan de Arellano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Pair Of Still Lifes Of Roses, Variegated Tulips, Peonies And Other Flowers In Crystal Vases, On Stone Plinths im Juli 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 668.750,00 (€ 746.222,31).
