Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2007 Christies in Madrid held the auction The Spanish Sale, The Westin Palace Hotel, Madrid, which included the work Cesta con flores by Juan de Arellano. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 180,000.00 – 280,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 180,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Juan de Arellano have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Pair Of Still Lifes Of Roses, Variegated Tulips, Peonies And Other Flowers In Crystal Vases, On Stone Plinths in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 668,750.00 (€ 746,222.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2007 führte Christies in Madrid die Auktion The Spanish Sale, The Westin Palace Hotel, Madrid durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cesta con flores von Juan de Arellano zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 180.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 180.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Juan de Arellano auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Pair Of Still Lifes Of Roses, Variegated Tulips, Peonies And Other Flowers In Crystal Vases, On Stone Plinths im Juli 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 668.750,00 (€ 746.222,31).
