Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Still Life Of Narcissi, Daffodils, Tulips, Hollyhocks, Hyacinths And Other Flowers In A Glass Vase On A Stone Ledge, With Butterflies by Juan de Arellano was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 81,250.00 (€ 60,185.19) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Juan de Arellano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Pair Of Still Lifes Of Roses, Variegated Tulips, Peonies And Other Flowers In Crystal Vases, On Stone Plinths in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 668,750.00 (€ 746,222.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Still Life Of Narcissi, Daffodils, Tulips, Hollyhocks, Hyacinths And Other Flowers In A Glass Vase On A Stone Ledge, With Butterflies von Juan de Arellano kam im Januar 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 60.185,19) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
