Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscapes by Juan de Arellano was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 35,000.00 – 55,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 3,427.93) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Juan de Arellano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Pair Of Still Lifes Of Roses, Variegated Tulips, Peonies And Other Flowers In Crystal Vases, On Stone Plinths in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 668,750.00 (€ 746,222.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscapes von Juan de Arellano wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 35.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 3.427,93) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Juan de Arellano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Pair Of Still Lifes Of Roses, Variegated Tulips, Peonies And Other Flowers In Crystal Vases, On Stone Plinths im Juli 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 668.750,00 (€ 746.222,31).
