Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle, which included this untitled work by Ting Ju. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 44,100.00 (€ 5,472.45). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ting Ju - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ohne Titel (Nr. 56)., which sold at auction in June last year for EUR 12,540.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ting Ju zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 44.100,00 (€ 5.472,45) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ting Ju mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Nr. 56). beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für EUR 12.540,00 versteigert wurde.
