It achieved a price of GBP 4,080.00 (€ 4,649.87), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joshua Shaw achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A view of Dinting Vale, Glossop, Derbyshire in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 44,215.00 (€ 65,805.16).

Die Arbeit A boy fishing with his dog in a landscape von Joshua Shaw wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Old Master Paintings bei Bonhams versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.080,00 (€ 4.649,87) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joshua Shaw erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A view of Dinting Vale, Glossop, Derbyshire im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.215,00 (€ 65.805,16).
