Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Washerwomen resting by a lake by Joshua Cristall was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2004. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 501.90 (€ 710.33). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joshua Cristall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Barking timber in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,349.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Washerwomen resting by a lake von Joshua Cristall kam im Dezember 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 501,90 (€ 710,33) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joshua Cristall erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Barking timber im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.349,07).
