Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction The Hoarder: Part III, which included the work Blue Porsche Car by Joseph Tetteh Ashong. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,134.00 (€ 1,352.62) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Other works by Joseph Tetteh Ashong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2019 the work Spalding Basketball was auctioned for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,363.77).

Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Hoarder: Part III durch, in der auch die Arbeit Blue Porsche Car von Joseph Tetteh Ashong zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.134,00 (€ 1.352,62) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Andere Arbeiten von Joseph Tetteh Ashong konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2019 die Arbeit Spalding Basketball für GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.363,77) versteigert.
