Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Priscilla (Jones Beach) by Joseph Szabo was auctioned at Bonhams in London in October this year. The price achieved of USD 6,400.00 (€ 6,056.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joseph Szabo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Priscilla, which sold at auction in October 2012 for USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,540.52).

Die Arbeit Priscilla (Jones Beach) von Joseph Szabo kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.400,00 (€ 6.056,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Joseph Szabo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Priscilla beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für USD 16.250,00 (€ 12.540,52) versteigert wurde.
