Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Joseph H. Hirshhorn: Collector for a Nation, Part II, which included the work Naomi by Joseph Solman. The »bidding war« ended at USD 6,930.00 (€ 5,760.60), 16% above the upper estimate. Other works by Joseph Solman have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 8,925.00 (€ 8,045.61) in March last year for the work Sewing Basket and Lamp.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Joseph H. Hirshhorn: Collector for a Nation, Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Naomi von Joseph Solman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 6.930,00 (€ 5.760,60) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Joseph Solman haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.925,00 (€ 8.045,61) im März letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Sewing Basket and Lamp beobachtet.
