Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dusk by Joseph Paulman was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2006. The price achieved of GBP 360.00 (€ 515.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Admittedly, works by Joseph Paulman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fishing from the bridge; and The retriever in May 2004 with an auction result of GBP 3,107.00 (€ 4,661.64).
