Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work By the pond; and Picking apples by Joseph Paulman was sold in the British and Victorian Pictures auction at Christies in London in May 2002. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,057.50 (€ 1,656.06). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joseph Paulman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fishing from the bridge; and The retriever, which sold at auction in May 2004 for GBP 3,107.00 (€ 4,661.64).

Die Arbeit By the pond; and Picking apples von Joseph Paulman wurde im Mai 2002 in der Auktion British and Victorian Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.057,50 (€ 1.656,06) einen neuen Besitzer.
