The work A duel on the staircase of Aston Hall, Warwickshire, a scene from its siege during the Civil War (illustrated); and A figure with a King Charles spaniel in the courtyard of a gothic house by Joseph Nash was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2011. The result of GBP 600.00 (€ 678.90) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Nash achieve. Die Arbeit A duel on the staircase of Aston Hall, Warwickshire, a scene from its siege during the Civil War (illustrated); and A figure with a King Charles spaniel in the courtyard of a gothic house von Joseph Nash kam im März 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 600,00 (€ 678,90) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00.
