Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2004 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours including Original, which included the work A church interior by Joseph Nash. The price achieved of GBP 418.25 (€ 632.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Nash achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Chambre De La Reine Marie-Amélie À Claremont in September 2015 with an auction result of EUR 75,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Watercolours including Original durch, in der auch die Arbeit A church interior von Joseph Nash zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 418,25 (€ 632,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Nash erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Chambre De La Reine Marie-Amélie À Claremont im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 75.000,00.
