In July 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th & 20th Century Sculpture, which included the work Olympian Wrestlers by Jef Lambeaux. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,190.00 (€ 9,604.47), 17% above the upper estimate. With this result, Olympian Wrestlers is even the most expensive work of art by Jef Lambeaux that we have observed at auctions so far.
