This artwork by Jef Lambeaux achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in May 2014. In the Alte Kunst auction, the work Faun und Nymphe sold for EUR 3,096.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 1,600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jef Lambeaux - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Olympian Wrestlers, which sold at auction in July 2021 for GBP 8,190.00 (€ 9,604.47).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jef Lambeaux erzielte im Mai 2014 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Alte Kunst wurde die Arbeit Faun und Nymphe für EUR 3.096,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 1.600,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jef Lambeaux mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Olympian Wrestlers beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für GBP 8.190,00 (€ 9.604,47) versteigert wurde.
