This artwork by Jef Lambeaux achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in May 2014. In the Alte Kunst auction, the work Der Kuss sold for EUR 2,838.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 1,600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jef Lambeaux - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Olympian Wrestlers, which sold at auction in July 2021 for GBP 8,190.00 (€ 9,604.47).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jef Lambeaux erzielte im Mai 2014 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Alte Kunst wurde die Arbeit Der Kuss für EUR 2.838,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 1.600,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jef Lambeaux mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Olympian Wrestlers beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für GBP 8.190,00 (€ 9.604,47) versteigert wurde.
