The work Still Life with Magnolia and Fruits by Joseph Inguimberty was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in May last year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 444,000.00 (€ 52,712.33), 27% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Inguimberty achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Hamac (The Hammock) in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 7,540,000.00 (€ 889,989.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 27 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Still Life with Magnolia and Fruits von Joseph Inguimberty wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 444.000,00 (€ 52.712,33) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Inguimberty erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Hamac (The Hammock) im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.540.000,00 (€ 889.989,90).
