Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work September In The Highlands by Joseph Denovan Adam for GBP 5,760.00 (€ 8,565.48). This price was achieved in the auction Gleneagles Pictures at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Joseph Denovan Adam have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2009 by the work Highland Cattle at GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,174.12).

Im August 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit September In The Highlands von Joseph Denovan Adam für GBP 5.760,00 (€ 8.565,48) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Gleneagles Pictures bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Joseph Denovan Adam wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April 2009 die Arbeit Highland Cattle mit GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.174,12).
