Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Kreis-Drehung, 1979 Circle-Rotation, 1979 by Josef Staub was auctioned at Sothebys in Zurich in November 2008. The price achieved of CHF 10,000.00 (€ 6,475.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Josef Staub have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Apollo in May 2011 with an auction result of EUR 30,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Kreis-Drehung, 1979 Circle-Rotation, 1979 von Josef Staub kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in Zürich zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 10.000,00 (€ 6.475,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Josef Staub auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Apollo im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 30.000,00.
