Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art - Day Sale, which included the work Sans Titre by Josef Šíma. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,900.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Josef Šíma achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jour du royal bleu in June this year with an auction result of EUR 806,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art - Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre von Josef Šíma zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.900,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Josef Šíma erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jour du royal bleu im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 806.400,00.
