Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Nature Morte Portugese by José Palmeiro was sold in the The House Sale auction at Christies in New York in January 2007. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,920.00 (€ 1,477.15). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by José Palmeiro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work St. Jean, Cap Ferrat, France, which sold at auction in December 2002 for GBP 2,350.00 (€ 3,607.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Nature Morte Portugese von José Palmeiro wurde im Januar 2007 in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.920,00 (€ 1.477,15) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von José Palmeiro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit St. Jean, Cap Ferrat, France beobachtet, die im Dezember 2002 für GBP 2.350,00 (€ 3.607,37) versteigert wurde.
