Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2008 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work L'Halterophile by José de Guimarães. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 8,674.00. Admittedly, works by José de Guimarães have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portuguese L'Automobile in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 45,850.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2008 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Halterophile von José de Guimarães zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 8.674,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von José de Guimarães auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portuguese L'Automobile im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 45.850,00.
