Admittedly, works by Jos Rovers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Salomé in July 2003 with an auction result of EUR 6,572.50.

Die Arbeit Still life with grapes in a bowl von Jos Rovers kam im Juli 2003 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.195,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jos Rovers auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Salomé im Juli 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.572,50.
