Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nude in a blue chair by Jos Rovers was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2003. The price achieved of EUR 1,195.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Jos Rovers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Salomé in July 2003 with an auction result of EUR 6,572.50.

Die Arbeit Nude in a blue chair von Jos Rovers wurde im Juli 2003 in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.195,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jos Rovers auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Salomé im Juli 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.572,50.
