Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work A still life with apples, eggs and a jug by Jos Rovers. The price achieved of EUR 822.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 700.00 – 900.00. Admittedly, works by Jos Rovers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Salomé in July 2003 with an auction result of EUR 6,572.50.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit A still life with apples, eggs and a jug von Jos Rovers zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 822,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 700,00 – 900,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jos Rovers auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Salomé im Juli 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.572,50.
