Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spazio nebbia by Jorrit Tornquist was auctioned at Christies in Milan in May 2007. The price achieved of EUR 2,232.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jorrit Tornquist - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Opus 403 (Diptychon), which sold at auction in June 2015 for EUR 7,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spazio nebbia von Jorrit Tornquist kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.232,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jorrit Tornquist mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Opus 403 (Diptychon) beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für EUR 7.500,00 versteigert wurde.
