In June 2016 Il Ponte held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work OP. 420 by Jorrit Tornquist. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,000.00 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jorrit Tornquist - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Opus 403 (Diptychon), which sold at auction in June 2015 for EUR 7,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2016 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit OP. 420 von Jorrit Tornquist zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.000,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Jorrit Tornquist mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Opus 403 (Diptychon) beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für EUR 7.500,00 versteigert wurde.
